The New Drug (Morgans1991)

I just took this off the top of my brain right now and I'll hopefully manage to stick a story together over the weekend. From what's here, what do you think so far?

Prologue
As the times changed so did the medical world, new marvels were discovered and more prescription drugs were able to be bought over the counter, with varying degrees of success.
A new drug which had just been made available was one which could simulate pregnancy without the whole baby thing. It was generally meant to be bought for women who were considering being mothers and would like to ‘test-drive’ the body modifications before going the whole hog and getting pregnant.
The effects of the drug were simple; you took one pill – just one – and within a week the effects would have started to take effect. This would be that you would become temporarily infertile, stopping you from becoming pregnant throughout however long you chose to keep the drug’s effects for. The drug did not ‘give’ you a temporary baby, you had to do that yourself over the coming weeks and months.
The way to ‘make’ your baby was to eat excessively; none of the excess body weight would go to your thighs, bum, arms, neck, face, etc. It would all go to your midsection and collate into what would always look to be a perfectly normal pregnant belly.
Originally many people asked about any side effects were, and it tuned out that there were none, as it were, it does what it says on the packet. Once you were finished playing pregnant then you took another pill and within another week you would be back to your old normal self again.
It proved a big hitter instantly, it wasn’t just bought by women who were thinking about being expectant mothers, it was also bought by women who did not want to be considered fat or overweight but enjoyed to eat more than what you would have to, to stay ‘in’ with the times to look like the skinny supermodels. These women used the treatment to feed themselves up for a while, gain a little weight and then take the second pill and go back to being skinny again.
There was no set time limit on how long the drug’s effects lasted for, therefore they could – potentially – last for years or decades if it was desired.

On a typical Monday morning Abigail Farquharson, a petite 5’10’’ nineteen year old brunette dawdled up to the counter, gave over her id to the pharmacist on the other side who scrutinised her before going to get her prescription.
